Three ways to estimate your retirement allowance, in rough order of accuracy:

1. Your member portal

Log into your member portal to model your specific service history, salary, and group classification. The numbers there are pulled from the actual data we and PERAC have on file — closest to what your final calculation will look like.

2. Mass.gov pension calculator

A no-login public calculator at mass.gov. Quick and decent for a rough cut, but it doesn't know your specific service history — you enter the inputs yourself, so the answer is only as accurate as what you put in.

3. Talk to us

Call (508) 555-0142 or email office@eldridge-bay-retirement.gov for a personalized retirement consultation. We recommend doing this about five years before your planned retirement so there's time to address any service gaps or buyback opportunities.

The final calculation is done at retirement, after the board verifies your full service record and 3-year average salary with PERAC.
